Nutrition Counseling, Medical Nutrition Therapy

Kirsten Holmson, MSCN, MA-Psych

I get it. When it comes to nutrition, conflicting information causes confusion. You can count on me to be a trusted source of nutrition and lifestyle information.

My foundation is built on the health of my family and a deep desire for us all to be well using FOOD as our foundation. I believe that many of today’s health concerns and conditions result from weaknesses in the body’s physiological foundations and can be improved through proper nutrition and lifestyle changes. Helping loved ones navigate medical diagnoses of depression, ADHD, anorexia nervosa, endometriosis, Alzheimer’s disease, cardiovascular disease, and hypothyroidism propelled me into an education of functional nutrition.

This is not about being a nutrition coach, this is MORE.

I’m trained as a holistic practitioner engaging in the most comprehensive study of food, sleep, movement, stress management, and nutrition therapy for chronic conditions. This allows me to provide in-depth, personalized nutrition recommendations that other providers are simply not trained to do in the same way.

Most importantly, I practice what I preach.

You’ll find me at the gym, the farmer’s market, cooking delicious nutrient-dense foods for my family and friends, and staying up to date on the latest nutrition research. I understand that nutrition can be really complicated. And social media certainly doesn’t help. But the basic things we need to focus on to support our long term health are really quite simple.

I’m here to help you navigate through all of the confusion.
